Marguerite “Marg” C. Morley, 98, of Fremont, OH went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Valley View Healthcare Center. She was born on May 27, 1915 in Fremont, the daughter of Ralph and Clara (McDermott) Molyet. She was a 1934 graduate of St. Joseph High School.
Marg married Tracey A. Morley on November 9, 1935 at St. Ann Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on April 15, 1975.
Marg was a Seamstress for S.E. Heyman and Howard Zinc Company. She and Tracey owned and operated M. & M. Upholstery Shop. Marg had also worked for Union Carbide, and retired at the age of seventy-nine in 1994.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Alter Rosary Society and Sympathy Choir, a member of the Fremont Eagles, VFW, Navy Mothers and Fremont Senior Center. Her name was the first name listed on the Annual Fund Donor Recognition at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Marg enjoyed golfing, playing cards, bowling, line dancing, Tai Chi, softball and traveling.
Marg is survived by her children, James A. (Janet) Morley, Fremont, OH, Richard A. (Norma Jean of Bethesda Care Center) Morley of Kansas, Virginia “Ginger” Goodfellow, Catawba/Port Clinton, OH, William “Skip” C. (Suzanne) Morley, Fremont, OH; siblings, Charles Molyet, Fremont, OH and Annarose Hamilton, Walbridge, OH; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tracey A. Morley; sister, Bernadine Richey.
