Margery Ross

Margery A. Ross, 88, of Fremont, OH passed away on December 21, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 31, 1935 in Ashland, OH the daughter of Lisle and Elsie Inez (Miller) Donelson. Marge was a graduate of Ashland High School.

Marge was an associate at Walmart for twenty years until she retired in 2021. She had also worked for years at Kmart. Marge enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

Marge is survived by her daughter, Teri (John) Harkness, Bowling Green, OH; daughter-in-law, Sheri Ross, Fremont; son-in-law, Mickey Head, Fremont; sister, Evelyn Weiler, Ashland, OH; grandchildren, Kaleen (Dan) Soisson, Janelle (Aaron) Opelt, Cory Ross, Lindsay (Spencer) Toral, Kyle Harkness, Emma (Parker) Maas and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Richard Ross; son, Anthony Ross; daughter, Kim Head; siblings, Allen, Dale and Kenny Donelson, Lois Balsizer and Martha Meng.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH. 

A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial to follow at McGormley Cemetery, Fremont, OH

Memorials can be made in her honor to the Sandusky County Food Pantry.
