Margaret A. Speaker

Margaret A. Speaker, 90, of Fremont, OH passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Bethesda Care Center. She was born on March 28, 1934 in Oregon, OH to Howard Rotchester and Ada (Rose) Harrington. 

Margaret married Lester Speaker in Elmore, OH and he preceded her in death in 1999. She worked as a hostess and manager at various restaurants. Maragret was a member of New Hope Vineyard Church where she was a part of Angel Wings. She loved working, serving and giving to others in need. Margaret also enjoyed spending time with friends and family along with watching NASCAR racing.

Margaret is survived by her children, Teresa Mesnard and Maragret Mesnard, both of Clyde, OH, Ronald (Debra) Conner, Fremont, OH; stepchildren, Tris (Carol) Speaker, Elmore, OH, Lisa Speaker, Oregon, OH; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, William Harrington; husband, Lester Speaker, grandsons, Shilando and Jay and brother, Lester.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 11:00 am to Noon at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will begin on Wednesday at Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Buxsel officiating.

Burial will be at Fairmont Memorial Park in Tiffin, OH.
