Margaret Rose Dondero
Margaret Rose Dondero, 81, of Fremont, OH passed away on August 29, 2014 at her home. She was born on January 2, 1933 in Bergenfield, NJ to Joseph and Mary (Jennings) Connolly. She graduated from St. Joseph of Palisades in West New York, NJ.
Marge was a home maker and worked for US Bank until she retired in 2005. She had also worked in the Fremont Religious Education Center for several years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Confraternity. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose and Eagles Auxiliary. She loved the New Jersey Shore, traveling, watching football, and playing poker. Marge was devoted to her faith, family, grandchildren and friends.
Marge is survived by her children, Geralyn Long, John G. Dondero and Judie (Brian) Burmeister all of Fremont, Tim (Tammie) Dondero and Tina Dondero both of Columbus, OH; brother, Andrew (Mary) Connolly of New Jersey; grandchildren, Ashley and Bryan Long, Rachel (Noah) Wagner, Samantha and John A.V. Dondero, Emily and Addison Burmeister, Hanna and Lauren Dondero and Noodles Dondero; great granddaughters, Lyndee and Audree Wagner; best friend, Donna Hoffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Joseph Connolly, Marian Collins, Steven Connolly, Cecilia Benjamin, John and Robert Connolly.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, September 3, 2014; 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 709 Croghan St., Fremont, OH with Fr. Michael Zacharias officiating.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery
