Margaret A. Kotch

Margaret A. “Dickey” Kotch, 91, of Fremont, OH passed away on January 7, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 13, 1930 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Ollie and Vernice (Reinhart) Basch.  She was a 1948 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Margaret married Casimir “Casey” Kotch on June 17, 1950 at St. Ann Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on September 28, 1985.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was part of the confraternity and the St. Francis Club.  She enjoyed cruises, the outdoors and she loved her cats.

Margaret is survived by her children, Steven Kotch, Larry (Mary) Kotch, Timothy (Rikki) Kotch, Richard Kotch and Lisa (Bruce) Esparza all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Tonya, Jennifer, Monica, Matt, Melissa, Casey Jo, Carrie Ann, Chris, Matt, Marcus, Jenna and Jamie;  twelve great grandchildren and many foster greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kathryn Collier.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon.  Service will follow at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to ProMedica Hospice.
