Lois I. Havens, 77, of Pt. Clinton Rd, Fremont, OH passed away at home on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. She was born on September 28, 1935 in Oak Harbor, OH, the daughter of Allen and Lucille E. (Suiter) Florianna.
Lois married Samuel C. Havens, Sr. on November 29, 1952 in Oak Harbor, OH and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2007. She worked for Pioneer Sugar in Fremont and retired after thirty years of service. Lois was a member of Fremont Baptist Temple, Women of the Moose, Eagles Auxiliary and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered as a clown for the Special Olympics and assembled Bibles for the Mission Field at Bearing Precious Seed-Fremont Baptist Temple. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lois is survived by her children, Joseph “Joe” Havens, Linda (Michael Trautman) Smith, Sam (Dawn) Havens, Jr., all of Fremont, OH, Sheila (Tim) Music of West Virginia, Donny (Kathy) Havens of Florida, Patricia (Bruce) Wilson, Fremont, OH, Frank (Vicki) Havens, of South Carolina, Raymond Havens, Chris (Pam) Havens, Jimmy (Laurie) Havens, all of Fremont, OH; sisters, Shirley (Gene) Weyant, Oak Harbor, OH, Joan Farrell, Glenwood, GA; sister-in-law, Elaine Cascaden, Fremont, OH; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel C. Havens, Sr.; children, Richard Havens, Herman Smith, Martha (Robert) Adams; siblings, Alice May Florianna, Donald and Frank Florianna.
