Linda Sue Hord

Linda Sue Hord, 66, of Fremont, OH passed away on April 16, 2024 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital ER in Fremont, OH.  She was born on March 30, 1958 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Kenneth Owen and Evelyn “Evie” L. (Pratt) Sorg.  Linda was a 1976 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and received an associate’s degree from Terra Technical College in Graphic Design.

Linda was a cashier at Walmart for twenty years until she retired.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping and working around her home.  Linda’s true love was to spend time with her sons, attending their sporting and music events, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her sons, Brandon (Amy) Hord, Canal Winchester, OH, Cameron (Fiona) Hord, Akron, OH; siblings, Peggy (Chuck) Gries and Mark (Sue) Sorg both of Fremont; grandchildren, Finnegan and Phoebe Hord and long-time partner, Jerry Moses, Sr.

She is preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Bryan Hord; brother, Roger Sorg and former husband, Timothy Hord.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.  A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m.

Private burial will take place at a later date at McGormley Cemetery.
