Linda M. Burdette

Linda M. Burdette, 80, of Green Springs, OH passed away on January 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Linda was born on June 18, 1943 to Cyril and Mable (Zender) Kirian in Tiffin, OH. She attended Tiffin Calvert High School. Linda married Paul Burdette on February 19, 1960 at St. Mary’s Church in Tiffin and he survives.

Linda worked for Green Springs Schools as a cashier, Fashion Bug and a family chaos coordinator. Linda was a mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend to everyone and always enjoyed having a house full of family and friends. She was known for her homemade doughnuts and hosting summer pool parties. Linda enjoyed making Christmas cookies and candies, game nights, traveling, sledding, and mashing many pounds of potatoes. She loved supporting her grandchildren in various activities.

Linda is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Paul Burdette; children, Jody Shetzer, Green Springs, OH and Amy (Rick) Rosenberger, Clyde, OH; grandchildren, Nikki (Doug) Lee, Danielle (Jack) King, Aric (Jessica) Rosenberger and Alex (Lydia Baumann) Rosenberger; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Jackson, Emma and Ella; sister, Becky Brown.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry Kirian and son-in-law, Dan Shetzer.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 2-6 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home, Green Springs, OH 44836. 

Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made in her honor to Stein Hospice or Stem Town.
