Leo J. Woodruff

Leo J. Woodruff, 93, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1927 in Fremont, the son of George and Mable (Leggett) Woodruff Fronek. Leo was a 1947 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and lived in life in Fremont. Leo and Talitha Heimlich were married June 3, 1950. He was an active member of the River of Life Church of God. Leo’s occupation included Union Carbide, Cleanwear Laundry, U.P.S. and part-time work at the Fremont Y.M.C.A.

Leo had many interests. He was an avid boater and fisherman, raised and raced pigeons, archery, enjoyed traveling, landscaping and repair work.

Leo is survived by his loving wife of seventy years, Talitha Woodruff, Fremont, OH; children, James Woodruff, Barbara (Albert) Schlecht and Benjamin Woodruff; grandchildren, Amber Lee Schlecht (William Fleming), Weston and Houston Woodruff; sister, Jean Ohms, all of Fremont, OH.

Services are private.
