Larry L. Nesbitt

Larry L. Nesbitt, 80, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home with family by his side on Saturday, May 1, 2021.  He was born November 9, 1940 in Fremont to Lamar W. and Isabelle B. (Shilling) Nesbitt.  He was a 1959 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Larry married Diane C. Schwartz on April 8, 1961 at St. Boniface Church in Oak Harbor, OH and she preceded him in death on June 18, 2002.  He married Norma (Ohms) Mooney on July 5, 2003 and she survives.

Larry worked as a set-up man at Chrysler in Perrysburg for thirty-one years and retired in June 1998.  He was a member of the Car Coddlers of Ohio and a former Club Master for Boy Scouts. Larry enjoyed going to car shows, flea markets and garage sales, showing off his classic cars and reading mystery’s.  He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Larry is survived by his wife, Norma Nesbitt, Fremont, OH; children, Terry Nesbitt, Bascom, OH, Tracy (Zara) Nesbitt, Merrill, OR, Tim (Teresa) Nesbitt, Fremont, OH, Steve (Brandi) Mooney, Perrysburg, OH, John (Karen) Mooney, Fremont, OH and Jackie (Norman Everhart) Heberling, Fremont, OH; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1

wife, Diane C. Nesbitt; daughter, Tammy Little, brother, Loren L. Nesbitt; two infant granddaughters and his four-legged friend, Teddy.

Larry’s family would like to give a special thanks to Stein Hospice for their excellent care.

It was Larry’s wishes to have no services.
