Kim E. Haubert, 62, of Fremont, OH passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Ruby Medical Center in Morgantown, WV as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born July 20, 1954 in Fremont to Arthur L. and Bernice E. (Fisher) Haubert. He was a 1972 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and attended Terra Community College.
Kim worked as a Boiler Operator at Whirlpool Corporation for over forty years until he retired in January of 2016. He was an active member and officer of the Flatlanders Bicycling Club, Indian Motorcycle Riders Group, and the Sandusky Sailing Club. Kim enjoyed the outdoors, Indian Motorcycles, sailing, woodworking and his dogs.
Kim is survived by his daughter, Emily (Logan) Ford, Bowling Green, OH; siblings, Ted Haubert, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH, Cynthia (Guy) Crispen, Fremont, OH, Ronald (Kelli) Haubert, Clyde, OH; nieces and nephews, Kaleena Crispen, Chad (Jeannie) Crispen and Heather L. Hoot; special friend, Kim McGilton, Clyde, OH; and former wife, Susann Robitski Zimmerman, Fremont, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stephen.
Visitation: Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 1 – 4 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
A Memorial Service will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home with Pastor James Gippert officiating.
