Kenneth L. Roth

Kenneth L. Roth, Sr., 75 of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at University Toledo Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1938 in Fremont, OH to Adam and Frances (Rimelspach) Roth. Ken was a 1959 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Ken married Phyllis DeCant on February 27, 1960 in Bono, OH and she survives. He worked many years and retired from Crescent Manufacturing Company as a Tool and Die Maker. Ken was a member of AA and enjoyed playing cards and taking care of his yard.

Ken is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Phyllis Roth; children, Pam (Dennis) Roth of Sarasota, FL, Connie (Gregg) Gerogosian, Fremont, OH, Nancy (Thomas) Sluder, Sr. of North Carolina, Kenneth Roth, Jr., Toledo, OH, Diane (Kyle) Hiser, Fremont, OH; sisters, Betty Magrum, Northwood, OH, Frances (Edward) Chaney, Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Thomas (Bobbie) Sluder, Jr., Kenneth Sluder, Brittany Roth, Nathan and Nickolas Hiser; two great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Patricia Roth.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wilfred, Melvin, Burton, Doyle and Robert Roth; sisters, Edna Reinbolt and Donna Jean Roth.

Visitation: Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH.

Service: Monday, July 21, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Ray Fisher officiating.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
