Kaylene Ohman, 64, of Fremont, Ohio, died of a repertory ailment at her home, Saturday morning, March 5, 2016. Born March 18, 1952 in Brigham City, Utah, she was the daughter of Earland A. and Pearl A. Ohman.
Kaylene never married, but lovingly shared her home with a cat!
She had been employed as a teacher in the Los Angeles, California Adult Education System, teaching English as a Second Language until her retirement. She then moved to Fremont, Ohio.
An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a Spanish speaking mission to Tucson, AZ, was an exchange student to Mexico, graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and also studied at Brigham Young University, Honolulu, Hawaii. She loved music and sang in choirs at church and played piano. She served as a teacher in Sunday School and Relief Society organizations and was an active temple worker.
Surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Jerald E. Ohman, Brigham City, Utah, Mrs. Eldon (Janice) Shaw, Clovis, Calif. Michael L. Ohman, Provo, Utah and Mrs. Ron (Evalie) Brockway, Fremont, Ohio.
Graveside services will be conducted in March in Brigham City, Utah, under the direction of Myers Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
