Kay F. Gooslin

Kay F. Gooslin, 65 of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Riverview of Ottawa County, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born on June 30, 1959 in Fremont, OH to Wilbur and Helen (Hoffman) Meyer. Kay was a 1977 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Kay was a STNA for twenty years, retiring in 2024. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, collecting angels, visiting Kelley’s Island and had a heart full of kindness and a deep love for cats. She had a kind heart filled with patience and always a shoulder to cry on. Her heart was full of Jesus and His plan. She loved sharing her love for God in weekly bible studies and she was always intentional about walking in Gods vison. She loved her family and the babies coming into her life. 

Kay is survived by her children, Kristin (Scottie) Dodson, Joey Gooslin, Stephanie Gooslin, Jason Gooslin, Michelle Gooslin, Lisa Gooslin, Alyssa Gooslin; siblings, Dr. Jim (Jing Hua) Meyer, Teresa (Sam) Schaeffer, John Meyer; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Diane Hilton, Helen Ann Meyer, Larry Meyer and fiancé Ted Wadsworth.

Visitation will take place on December 5, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 7:30 pm with a Vigil Services beginning at 7:30 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH 43420.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
