Kathryn “Kitty” T. Widman
Kathryn “Kitty” T. Widman, 90 of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at NW Ohio Hospice in Perrysburg, OH. She was born November 20, 1925 in Fremont to Daniel and Matilda (Babione) Widman. She was a 1943 graduate of St. Joseph High School.
Kitty dated Bill Viers for many years, and he preceded her in death on February 3, 1995. She was employed at Howard Zink for many years. She would say that she enjoyed going to work, because she enjoyed the people she worked with. Kitty was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved reading, walking in the grove, and just having a good time.
Kitty is survived by nieces, Patty Swint, Fremont, OH, Marian Paeth, Guffy, CO; nephews Randy Widman, Perrysburg, OH, Dick Conrad, Holland, OH, Steve Conrad, Gibsonburg, OH, and Norman “Biz” Paeth, Cedar Key, FL; Close friends Paul & Sue Burmeister, Fremont, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Widman, and sisters Mary Kochy, Genevieve Paeth and Alice Conrad; niece, Francine “Snooky” Rich.
Private burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
