Kathleen “Kathy” Jo Letchworth

Kathleen “Kathy” Jo (Bendy) Letchworth, 78 of Fremont, OH and formerly of Trenton, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born on July 5, 1945 in Trenton, NJ to Joseph and Nellie (Bowers) Bendy. 

Kathy married Warren Letchworth on June 28, 1980 in New Jersey and he survives. She worked for McLean Engineering for many years and retired from Data Trace Inc. Kathy and her family moved from New Jersey to Ohio in 2008 to be closer to her only grandchild. Kathy loved to work on crossword puzzles and taking care of her family and cats. She was a kind person with a good heart and became a friend to everyone she met. 

Kathy is survived by her husband of almost forty-four years, Warren Dale Letchworth; son, Dennis J. Bendy; granddaughter, Emily Kathleen Bendy, all of Fremont, OH; brother, John “Jack” Bendy and sister, Shirley Distefano.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Joey Bendy, George Bendy and Frances Bannister. 

A service will be held at a later date in New Jersey and burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, New Jersey.

Memorials can be made in her honor to her husband, Warren Letchworth to help with travel expenses for burial.
