Juan “Junior” Garcia, Jr., 50, of Fremont, OH passed away on March 26, 2021 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on May 13, 1970 in Fremont, OH the son of Maria (Ayala) Garcia and she survives. He was a 1990 graduate of Vanguard and Fremont Ross High School. Junior currently was a single serve operator at HJ Heinz Co. He had previously worked at Bemis and Lear for years. He loved rocking out, playing air guitar and was as a diehard Metallica fan. He also enjoyed working on cars and computers and was an avid Detroit Lions fan. Junior was always there to help his family and friends. He always made sure his sons were cared for, felt loved and had what they needed to survive this crazy world. He often used his music, wisdom and gave them as much fatherly love any man can give.
Junior is survived by his sons, Anthony (Cassandra) Garcia, Fremont, OH, Thomas Garcia, Fort Hood, TX and Zain Garcia, Clyde; stepchildren, Christopher Vasquez, Kassandra (Nick) Rinehard and Shawn Vasquez; mother, Maria Garcia, Fremont; siblings, Rose Garcia, Lily Garcia, Christina Garcia, Diamantina Garcia all of Fremont, Adan Garcia and Julian “Macho” Garcia both of Albuquerque, NM; step siblings, Lorenzo Avalos and Irene Avalos and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Garcia, Sr and stepfather, Anselmo “Chemo” Avalos; sister, Hermelinda Garcia and stepsister, Delores “Lola” Patino.
Visitation: Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. with an open casket and 6 to 8 p.m. with a closed casket at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
