Joseph Robinson

Joseph Robinson, 81, of Tiffin, OH passed away on April 9, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. Joseph was born on April 26, 1943 to Moses and Frannie (Norris) Robinson in Memphis, TN. Joseph was a graduate of Port Clinton High School. He also attended Central State University. Joseph served in the United States Army from April 1964 to April 1970. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

Joseph was self employed as a painter where he painted large buildings and apartments. Joe was also a mentor for the troubled youth at Lorain City Schools for many years. He loved gambling and was a avid sports fan.

Joseph is survived by his loving companion of thirty years, Linda Strausbaugh, Tiffin, OH; son, Darrell Robinson, Detroit, MI; granddaughter, Amari Hopkins; sister Carolyn (Norman) Fletcher, Soul Fort, VA and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

It was Joe’s wishes to not have any services at this time.
