Johnathan “Jay” Heberling

Johnathan “Jay” Heberling, 51, of Fremont, OH passed away on February 18, 2023 at Bridge Hospice Unit in Findlay, OH.  He was born on February 28, 1971 in Fremont, OH the son of Dale N. and Shirley (Carnicom) Heberling.  He was a 1989 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  Jay was previously the manager at Hillside Billiards.  He enjoyed shooting pool, throwing darts and playing the guitar.  He also enjoyed fishing and going to Cedar Point.

Jay is survived by his children, Lacey Heberling, Fremont, Dakota (Dezerrae Starr) Heberling, Bellevue and Dylan Heberling, Fremont; grandchildren, Malachi Heberling, Isayah Starks, Jace and Alonna Heberling, Mach and Rowan Metz; brother, Lawrence “Larry” (Deborah) Heberling, Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Heberling and sister, Robin Humberger.

Visitation: Friday, February 24, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.  A graveside service will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
