Jody L. Sherman

Jody L. Sherman, 55 of Clyde, OH passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, July 5, 2024 at her home. Jody was born on August 14, 1968 in Tiffin, OH to James and Wendy (Fankhauser) Baker and they survive. She was a 1986 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. Jody married Todd Sherman on June 26, 2015 in Tiffin, OH and he survives. 

Jody worked many jobs including Kroger, Farmland Foods, home health care, and many jobs in factory work. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, drawing, crocheting and spending time with family. She was an animal lover and, in her life, she rehomed over 100 cats. 

Jody is survived by her husband of nine years, Todd Sherman of Clyde, OH; her parents, James and Wendy Baker of Tiffin, OH; children, Keesha (Anthony) England, Republic, OH, Codie (Alexandria) Sours, Clyde, OH, Shyanne Bair, Republic, OH, and Joseph (Renae) Bair, Fremont, OH; siblings, Robby (Pamela) Baker, Jamey (Cori) Baker, Laurie Williams and Amber Baker all of Tiffin, OH; nine grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her several cats. 

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Shirley and Robert Aikman and paternal grandparents, Nina and Stanley Baker. 

Visitation will take place on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St. Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will follow at noon at the funeral home. 

Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde, OH.

Memorials can be made in her honor to Heartland Hospice and the Cleveland Clinic.
