Jerry C. Snodgrass, Sr.

Jerry C. Snodgrass, Sr., 75, of Fremont, OH passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, December 19, 2021.  He was born on November 17, 1946 in Lyburn, WV, the son of Jake Snodgrass and Tessie (Manns) Ferguson.   Jerry married Sondra K. Rubel on March 6, 1964.  He was the general manager at Baumann Auto Group, Fremont Chrysler Store for twenty years.  Jerry had previously worked at Don Paul Ford starting in 1969 and also at Todd Motors.  He was an avid fan of Fremont Ross sports and Duke Basketball.  He loved spending time with his family.  Jerry loved to coach youth basketball at the Fremont Rec Department and Middle School.

Jerry is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Sondra K. Snodgrass, Fremont, OH; children, Jerry (Betsy) Snodgrass, Jr., Fremont, OH, Paula (Tim) Noggle, Dover, PA and John (Cynthia) Snodgrass, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Alysia (Adam) Abdoo, Andra Snodgrass, Alec (Michelle Rivera) Snodgrass, Aiden, Scott (Taylor Snyder) , Kyle and Cody (Haley Ziemba) Snodgrass and Abby Offenburg; great-grandchildren, Brynlee Snodgrass, Ryker Busack and Emella Abdoo; siblings, Boyd Snodgrass, Chillicothe, OH and Janet Knighton, Fremont, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Sandy Masters and Scottie Snodgrass.

Visitation:  Monday, December 27, 2021 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
