Jennifer Lynn Grimes

Jennifer Lynn Grimes, 55, of Clyde, OH passed away at her home on Thursday, November 11, 2021.  She was born on April 18, 1966 in Fremont, the daughter of William and Glenda (Byers) Dodson.  She was a 1984 graduate of Clyde High School.  Jennifer served in the U.S. Army.  She married Rod Grimes on December 19, 1984 in Clyde and he survives.  Jennifer was an LPN at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, OH for twenty-five years and retired in 2019.  She was a Life member of the Sandusky AMVETS and a Life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Clyde, OH.  Jennifer enjoyed volunteering her time to the Nation of Patriots Services. She loved working at the Ohio Veterans Home, that was her passion.

Jennifer is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Rod Grimes; son, Chad Grimes both of Clyde, OH; grandchildren, Jaylynn and Natalia; siblings, Randy Dodson of Idaho, John Dodson of Michigan, Richard Dodson, Clyde, OH, Rose (Terry) Slaydon of Michigan and Jodi Dodson of Ohio; foster mother, Nancy Weltin, Fremont, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There are no services at this time.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
