Jennifer Claar, 59, of Fremont, OH passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at her home. She was born August 27, 1954 in Fremont, OH, the daughter of Thomas and Iris (Reiter) Claar.
Jennifer worked as a Group Home Supervisor for ECI (Encouraging and Celebrating Independence). She was a member of Victory Church where she enjoyed volunteering much of her time within the church, such as Turnaround, made wardrobes for the Civil War Reenactment and was in charge of the Soup Kitchen at the Pontifex. Jennifer enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and attending church.
Jennifer is survived by her children, Thomas (Amy Jackson) Estes, Nicholas (Tiffany Smith) Claar, Diane (Phil) Nottingham, all of Fremont, OH; parents, Thomas and Iris Claar, Clyde, OH; siblings, Stephanie (Dan) Schee, Huron, OH, Wendy Alafita, Clyde, OH, Bunny (Pastor Scott) Robles, Fremont, OH, Chris (Angie) Claar, Palm Springs, CA, Richard Claar, Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 at Victory Church, 2051 Old Oak Harbor Rd, Fremont, OH.
Services: Friday, November 8, 2013, 10:30 am at the church with Pastor Scott Robles officiating.
Memorials: Victory Church or Hospice of Memorial Hospital, 430 S. Main St, Clyde, OH 43410.
