Jed Patrick Davis
Jed P. Davis, 55, of Fremont, OH, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born September 30, 1959 in Fremont, OH to Richard and Naomi (Fry) Davis. Jed was a 1977 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Jed served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1981 to 1984 and was awarded the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Rifle Expert Badge and Pistol Expert Badge. He was currently working at Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde. Jed was a member of the Fremont VFW, American Legion and the Ottawa Shooting Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jed is survived by his children; Jed P. Davis II, Michael P. (Bennie Saville) Davis, both of Fremont, OH, Jessica Rahm, Louisville, KY; mother Naomi Davis, Fremont, OH; siblings, Doug (Linda) Davis, Oak Harbor, Al (Sue) Davis, Fremont, OH, Bobby (Peggy) Davis, Clyde, OH; grandchildren, Adalyn Davis, Ian Davis and Maisie Davis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Davis.
Visitation: Sunday from 2 – 6 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Monday, August 31, 2015, 10:30 am at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Merriman officiating.
Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Rice Twp, OH with Military Honors provided by the American Legion and VFW.
