Jd Heidelburg

JD Heidelburg, 72, of Fremont, OH passed away on March 28, 2023 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. JD was born on June 9, 1950 in Hollandale, MS to JC and Adeline (Jones) Heidelburg. JD married DeLois Newell on October 6, 1970 in Columbus, OH and she survives.  JD was employed at National Can, M&B Asphalt, Mosser Construction and Peerless Construction. He ran an asphalt business after he retired. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork, grilling, working on his truck, western movies, and sitting in his garage. He also loved his Stacy Adams shoe and tie collection.

JD is survived by his wife, DeLois Heidelburg; daughter, Kimberle Heidelburg of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, McKenna “Butterfly” and David Anthony Heidelburg; siblings, Nick Heidelburg, Minnie (Maurice) Lull, Roger (Mia) Heidelburg and Betty Abney all of Fremont, OH; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Thomas Newell, Billy Ray Newell, Sherman Newell, Barbara Satcher, Dawn (Lonnie Ray) Johnson, Eileen (Junior) Johnson and Beverly Charpentier.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, John David and Derrick Anthony Heidelburg.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10 a.m. to noon at Greater St. James Church, 629 6th St, Fremont, OH 43420.  Services will follow at noon at the church.

Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.
