Janice E. Vroman

Janice “Jay” E. Vroman, 84, walked into the outstretched arms of Jesus with loving family by her side on December 24, 2023.  She was a resident of Bethesda Care Center for the past twelve years.  Jay was born on September 24, 1939 in Burgoon, OH to Orvis and Garnet (Ellenberger) Vroman. 

Jay is survived by her two brothers, Herbert (Ruth) Vroman of Westerville, OH and Orvis “Bill” (Judy) Vroman, Jr. of Fostoria, OH and eight beautiful nieces and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Vroman and an infant sister Hilma Vroman.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 11:30 a.m.  to 12:30 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Randy Fielding officiating.

The family requests respectively that masks be worn. 

Burial will take place at Smith Cemetery in Burgoon, OH.

Memorials can be made to Heartland Hospice, Humane Society of Sandusky County or the donor’s choice.
