Janet Sue Kramer

Janet Sue Kramer, 60, of Fremont, OH passed away on July 15, 2023 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont, OH.  She was born on January 16, 1963 in Sandusky, OH the daughter of John Kramer and Norma (McClanahan) Draves.  She was a 1981 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.  She then studied Executive Office Administration and Accounting at Terra State Community College. She also studied Accounting and Forensic Accounting at Franklin University.  Janet was currently a secretary for the criminal justice and emergency service programs at Owens Community College for the past five years.  She had also worked at Terra State Community College for over fifteen years where she was a former Interim Administrative Coordinator, Accounts Receivable Specialist, Registrar Assistant Administrative Assistant for Special Projects and Banquet Associate.

Janet was a member of New Hope Vineyard Church.  She enjoyed country music and decorating, especially for Christmas.  She loved her dogs, Cash and Coco.

Janet is survived by her father, John Kramer of Republic, OH and long-time companion, Richard Preble of Fremont.

She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Norma and Richard Draves and step-mother, Luella “Sue” Kramer.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a funeral ceremony to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
