James Dale Coleman

James Dale Coleman, 69, of Fremont passed away on May 23, 2024 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital.  He was born on June 26, 1954 in Bellevue OH, to George H. and Clara E. (Bagley) Coleman.  James married Tina L. Auxter on July 29, 1978 and she preceded him in death on January 23, 2020.

He worked at Troy Model Laundry and Rhoda Lumber for many years until the closed and then was employed by the Freeman Company as a custodian until he retired in 2006.  In his spare time James had a repair business where he fixed lawn mowers and had his own cleaning business with his wife called J&T Cleaning.  He also enjoyed fishing and Elvis.  James loved his family more than anything else and cherished his time with them.

James is survived by his daughter; Kimberly Lynn (Jason) Good, Fremont OH, grandchildren; Jason Allen Good Jr. and Jazmine Bea Good, brother; David Coleman, and sister in law; Carla Williams and many nieces and nephews; son like figure, Matthew Keller

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Tina L. Coleman, daughter; Judith Ann Coleman; siblings, Rosette Perkins, Pwanda Lamayle, George Coleman Jr., Robert Coleman and Mary Smith and brother in laws; Leal “Butch” Auxter and Jack Williams

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 form 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St. Fremont, OH 43420.

Services will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, OH.

Memorials may be made in James’ honor to the family.
