James R. Brunthaver

James R. Brunthaver, 60, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 in Fremont. James was born on September 24, 1963 to James M. Brunthaver and Darlene (Cockrell) Obermyer in Fremont. He was a 1982 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. 

James was an owner-operator truck driver for many years. He enjoyed working on trucks and cars, skiing and being outdoors. He loved his dog, Pearl. 

James is survived by his children; Ashley (Grant) Hesselbart, Fairview Park, OH and Cody (Kelli) Brunthaver, Fremont, OH; grandchildren Hannah, Simon and Emaline. 

He is preceded in death by his parents. 

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 3-6 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420. 

Memorials can be made in his honor to the Donor’s Choice.
