Imogene A. Wheeler

Imogene “Mama” Audrey Wheeler, 80, of Lindsey, OH passed away on November 12, 2017 at Valley View Healthcare Campus surrounded by her family. She was born on December 7, 1936 in Hessville, OH the daughter of Walter and Arlene (Gahn) Foreman. She was a 1954 graduate of Gibsonburg High School.

Imy married Berton J. Wheeler, Jr. on March 26, 1955 in Helena, OH and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2011. She was a member of New Apostolic Church. Imy enjoyed watching the birds and television. She also loved her desserts and to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Imy is survived by her daughters, Marlene (Larry) Dickey, Lindsey, OH, Darlene (Rick) Overmyer and Sharlene (Mike Edwards) Wheeler both of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Davi Anderson, Jim Overmyer, Joey Sanders, Steven Hoy, Dusti Minier, Mikey Edwards and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bert Wheeler; son, Paul Wheeler; siblings, Larry (Karen) Foreman and Mary (Tom) Ratliff.

Visitation: Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH

Service: Saturday, November 18, 2017; 11:00 a.m. at New Apostolic Church, 817 Mulberry St., Fremont, OH with an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Priest Raymond Cline will officiate.
