Helen “Kathy” Macallister

Helen “Kathy” MacAllister, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Countryside Manor.  She was born on November 29, 1952 in Toledo, OH to John MacAllister and Sophie Morton.  Kathy was a 1970 graduate of Whitmer High School and then went on to graduate with an associate at Terra State Community College.  Kathy worked in the office at Berlekamp Plastics Inc for twenty-nine years, retiring on October 1, 2021.  She was a dedicated member of Grace Community Church, where she loved serving and being surrounded by her church family.  Kathy also enjoyed listening to music.

Kathy is survived by her son, David (Brianna) Fennell, Shavertown, PA and grandson, Landyn.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Rose Long, Jeanne Livingston, Robert, James and John MacAllister.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.

Service will take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 11:00 am at Grace Community Church 900 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH 43420 with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Kevin Pinkerton will be officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, OH.
