(Hazel) Louise (McGrath) Cline passed into the hands of the Lord June 13. 2018 at Bethesda Care Center after a long illness. She was born January 11, 1922 to Aaron & Bertha Alice (Emory) McGrath in Athens, OH.
Proceeded in death by husband Delbert R Cline (WWII veteran) of the Plains, OH and Son Delbert (Del) R.L. Cline.
Surviving is son Bill L. Cline (Penne Curry) of Phoenix, AZ., daughter Bonnie C. Bowlus (James) of Fremont, OH. Seven grandchildren Samantha (Cline) O’Kelly (Tim) of Aurora, CO, Anna (Cline) Jones (Frank) of Phoenix, AZ., Amanda Bowlus-Love (Jason) of Clyde, OH, Elizabeth Bowlus of Fremont, OH, William Bowlus (Georgia Sharp) of McCook, NE, David Cline of CA and Susan Bollen (William) of Sylvania, OH. Four great-grandchildren. Tiyana & Isiah Cline of Phoenix. Aidan & Ethan Love of Clyde. Daughters of her heart, Debby Leibewitz of Louisville, CO, Donna House of Fremont.
Louise wore many hats. She was a homemaker, worked at Wright Field, ran a restaurant with her husband, and became head housekeeper at Ohio University. At 50 she graduated Ohio University with a 2-year mental health degree and worked in the Athens Mental Health Hospital. She also taught Sunday School and a missionary group at the Nazarine church in the Plains. The hat dearest to her was her family and friends.
Visitation from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Fremont Alliance Church, 936 Brush St., Fremont, OH with a funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Pastor Glenn Merrill will officiate.
Burial will take place at Memory Gardens in Athens, OH at a later date.
