Harriet I. Laeng

Harriet I. Laeng, 84, of Fremont, OH, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Toledo Hospital. She was born August 24, 1929 to Oliver Perry and Roma Irene (Humburger) Smith. Harriet was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School.

Harriet married Raymond Albert Laeng on December 28, 1951 in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2005. She was a member of First United Church of Christ and was also a thirty year member of the Eastern Star. Harriet enjoyed reading and watching sports.

Harriet is survived by her sons, James P. (Terri) Laeng, Steven L. (Sue) Laeng and Scott T. Laeng, all of Fremont; brothers, Herbert L. Smith and Robert (Roxanne) Wolfe both or Fremont, OH and granddaughter, Rachel Laeng.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Albert Laeng and brother, Lyle D. Smith.

Services and burial will be held private for the family.
