Harold “Skip” B. Fox, 87, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria, OH. He was born on August 25, 1936 in Fremont, OH to Frederick and Gertrude (Magrum) Fox. Skip was a 1956 graduate of St. Joseph High School. He served in the United States Army Reserve from 1959 to 1962 and received the Marksman Badge.
Skip worked as a tow motor driver and warehouse supervisor for Heinz for 34 years until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed fishing, boating, tinkering, gardening, Skip-Bo, Harley Davidson motorcycles, animals, cars, John Deere tractors, remote control airplanes and shopping for a bargain.
Skip is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Louis Fox, Ralph Fox, Richard Fox, Beatrice Lowery, Pauline Lowery, Herbert Fox and Donald Fox; special friends, Dollie Michael and Annie Droll.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
