Hardy Heidelburg, Jr., 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. He was born on January 25, 1942 in Laurel, MS, the son of Hardy Sr. and Minnie (Lindsay) Heidelburg. Hardy worked at American Standard for many years. He and his family had a band where they played at several venues. Hardy enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing the guitar.
Hardy is survived by his children, Reggie (Delberta) Heidelburg of West Virginia, Hardy (Yammah) Heidelburg, Port Clinton, OH, Mary Ann Mason of North Carolina, Joaquin L. Turner-Heidelburg, Port Clinton, OH; sister, Annie R. Adams of Columbus, bothers, James “Brother” Heidelburg, Quillie (Louise) Heidelburg both of Fremont, OH, Leroy (Birdie) Heidelburg of Cincinnati, former wife, Annie C. Heidelburg, Fremont, OH; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharon Heidelburg; siblings, Annie Lou Jones, “TJ” Tommy J. Heidelburg, Robert “Bunky” Heidelburg, James Heidelburg, Dora Marie Heidelburg, Pearlie Mae Heidelburg and two infant siblings.
A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, October 19, 2020; 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH.
