Gordon “Cuda” E. Bulger, 70, of Fremont, OH passed away at home on Monday, March 23, 2015 surrounded by family. He was born March 2, 1945 in Abbeville, AL to Ed Gordon and Lucy (Johnson) Bulger.
Cuda was in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 to 1969 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal with One Device, Combat Action Ribbin and a Rifle Marksman Badge. He worked for Brush Wellman for fifteen years, retiring in 2010. He was a member of New Revelations Church and a member of the VFW. Cuda enjoyed fishing, vacationing, watching sports, going to casinos and barbequing and spending time with his family.
Cuda is survived by his special friend, Katie Garry, Fremont, OH; mother, Lucy Bulger, Fremont, OH; children, Joyce (David) Alridge, Clyde, OH, Gordon (Deb) Bulger, Jr, Fremont, OH, Lisa Bulger, Columbus, OH, Latoya Agnew, Kodi Johnson; step children, Maurice (Julie) Clay, Devin Hughes all of Fremont, OH; siblings, Mamie Cal, Johnnie Bulger, James Bulger of Fremont, OH, Rev. Brenda Moore of Maryland, Vickie Washinton, Michael E. Bulger, Tamara (Pastor Al) Vann, Sara Fousé of California, Rosemary Davis Fremont, OH, Maggie Stills, Pensacola, FL, Maddie (Dan) Chacho Clearwater, FL; special Aunts, Eunice Davis, Maude Stewart, Queenie Johnson, special cousin, Bruce Scott; fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Larry Bulger, uncle, Luses Bulger; grandparents Johnnie and Lilly Johnson and grandmother, Maggie Bulger.
Visitation: Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory.
Service: Saturday, March 28, 2015, 11:00 am at Victory Church with an hour of visitation prior to service with Pastor Al Vann officiating.
Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens with Military Honors provided by the American Legion and VFW.
