Glorene Fay Ballard, 78, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 13, 1937 in Jefferson Oklahoma, the daughter of Gordon Neal Ballard and Margaret “Polly” (Harris) Keegan.
Fay worked at Kelsey Hayes Kingsway Plant for 27 years and retired in 1999. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and enjoyed quilting, gardening, football, baking, yard work, line dancing and archery. She loved spending time with her family and riding her motorcycle and horses.
Fay is survived by her children, Leota (Liny) Earhart, Port Clinton, OH; Scott Brunnet, Iron Mountain, MI, John Brunnet, Fremont, OH; siblings, Paula Lewis of Tennessee, John Ballard of Oklahoma, twin sister, Glendene “Deaner” Brunnet of North Carolina; grandchildren, Teanna Brunnet, Tiranee Brunnet, Cody Sumner, Wayne Earhart, Ava Gonzalez and Lexia Gonzalez; great grandchildren, Josiah Pettiford, Evan Earhart; former husband, Dean Brunnet; special family friend, Jacci Croudup; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, James Ballard and Beverly Long.
Visitation: Saturday from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Saturday, September 5, 2015, 2:30 pm at the funeral home.
