Gladys King, 64, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Elmwood Skilled Nursing of Fremont. She was born on January 19, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Sam and Nancy (Frost) Hammons.
Gladys married Wayne Allen King on December 10, 1983 and he preceded her in death on September 19, 2016. She enjoyed playing the Lottery and Bingo. She loved spending time with her family and being on her computer.
Gladys is survived by her son, Gary Hammons of Illinois; siblings, Patsy (Bob Snyder) Estep, Port Clinton, Sam (Diane) Hammons, Joan Miller both of Fremont, Maggie (Dave) Beckley, Donna (Bob) Miller, Russell (Victoria) Hammons, all of Clyde, Raymond (Deb) Hammons and Roy (Mandy) Hammons both of Tiffin, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Wayne King; siblings, Christine Hammons and Cory Hammons.
Visitation: Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.
A Celebration of Life Service for Gladys and Wayne will follow at Noon at the funeral home.
Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde
