Gerhard "Gary" Haeusser

Gerhard “Gary” Haeusser, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away on April 19, 2025 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH. He was born on July 31, 1956 in Fremont, OH the son of Leonhard and Elizabeth (Hauser) Haeusser. He was a 1974 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

Gary married Rebecca “Becki” (Tebbe) Haeusser on September 16, 2015 in Auburn, IN and she survives. He was employed at Whirlpool Corporation in the repair bay for over thirty years until he retired. Gary loved cars and detailed them on the side. He was currently restoring a 1955 Chevy truck and enjoyed attending car shows. He also enjoyed working in his yard but mostly loved to spend time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his wife, Becki Haeusser; son, Joshua (Sarah) Haeusser, grandchildren, Cali and Nora Haeusser; brother, Guenther (Barb) Haeusser, Sr.; nephew, Guenther (Deann) Haeusser, Jr.; niece, Erika Haeusser all of Fremont, OH; cousin, Manfred Meder, San Francico, CA; mother-in-law, Dorothy Tebbe; brother-in-law, Dan Tebbe and sister-in-law, Karen (Gene) Crawfoot.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Wilbur Tebbe.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH 43420.

Memorials can be made in Gary’s name to the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
