George E. Love

George E. Love, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 11, 2023 at Countryside Manor Healthcare in Fremont, OH.  He was born on May 21, 1955 in Fremont, OH the son of George and Della (Sparks) Love.  He was a 1974 graduate of Clyde High School.  George married Darlene S. Lippert on August 12, 1978 in Bellevue, OH.

George worked as a paper handler at Moore Business Forms for thirty-two years until he retired in 2007.  He enjoyed bowling, fishing, watching westerns and playing cards.  George enjoyed life and loved to be around people and make them laugh.  He mostly loved to spend time with his grandchildren and family.

Goerge is survived by his wife, Darlene S. Love, Fremont; children, Sandy M. Matthews, Portsmouth, OH and Johnathan W. Love, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Virginia S. Shaffer, Carissa M. Shaffer, Ivy N. Shaffer, Katlyn Myers and Olivia Harvey; siblings, Oklea Guerrero, Roxanne (Jeff) DeWese, Clifford (Jerry) Love and Mary Shaffer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Christine Whitaker, Louise Ladd, Roscoe and Rocky Love; nephew, James Love.

A celebration of life will take place on December 9, 2023 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Plazza Lanes, 2641 E State St., Fremont, OH.
