George Joseph Kopcak, Jr.

George Joseph Kopcak, Jr, 67, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.  George was born on May 1, 1956 in Bellevue, OH to Betty Ann Beeler.   He was a 1974 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.

George married Clara J. Widman on December 13, 1974 at Faith Lutheran Church, Fremont, OH.   He worked for Kellogg’s Snack for twenty-two years.  George enjoyed fishing, listening to Willie Nelson along with other Classic Rock music and was an avid Ohio State and Green Bay Packer fan.

George is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Clara Kopcak, Fremont, OH; daughter, Rachel Marie Hudec, Lacarne, OH; son, Brian Lee Kopcak, Fremont, OH; mother, Betty Kopcak, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Dylan, Mariah and Emma; brother, David (Sheri) Kopcak, Fremont, OH and his beloved dog, Chunk.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Adams.

George requested not to have any services.

Memorials can be made in his honor to the American Heart Association.
