Evelyn M. Miller

Evelyn M. Miller, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away on November 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 24, 1933 in Sandusky, OH. She was raised by Carl and Luna (Meyer) Widman.

Evelyn was a bank teller at Fremont Saving Bank for many years and the became an apartment manager for Terra Management until she retired. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Fremont Eagles and American Legion Aux. She enjoyed going on Casino bus trips, playing cards and taking care of her plants. Evelyn loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Karen Hammer and Mary Beckman both of Fremont; grandchildren, Zach, Jeremy and Matt Beckman; great grandchildren, Ally Beckman and Lily and Bella Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Dick Chamberlain and Ginny Feyjak and son-in-law, Steve “Buck” Beckman.

Following her wishes no services will take place at this time.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or ProMedica Memorial Hospital Hospice.
