Evelyn A. Theller

Evelyn A. Theller, 89, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Rutherford House. She was born September 16, 1924 in Tiffin, OH, the daughter of Marvel and Mamie (Reed) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School.

Evelyn married Eric J. Theller on May 19, 1945 in Tiffin and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2012.

Evelyn was a Homemaker and also worked at Otto & Urban Flower Shop for several years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Evelyn was an avid bridge player and enjoyed sewing, gardening, bird watching, quilting and vacationing with her husband.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Nancy Simpson, Lisbon, OH, Marsha (Bruce) Hirt, Fremont, OH and Eric (Kimberly) Theller, Dillon, CO; sisters, Eileen Borer, Tiffin, OH and Jane Perkins of Nevada; grandchildren, Raenna Weaver, Gregory Hirt, Erica Zender, Megan Kosek and Eric Jon Theller; great grandchildren, Olivia and Emily Weaver, Evan and Zane Zender, Hailey and Grady Hirt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eric J. Theller; sister, Margaret Schilling.

A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 am, with visitation from 10:30 to 11:00 am prior to the service, 705 West State St, Fremont, OH. Pastor James Avers will officiate.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Memorial Hospital, Grace Lutheran Church or Rutherford House Activities Fund.
