Eva “Pauline” Brink
Eva “Pauline” Brink, 85, of Fremont, OH passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Bethesda Care Center. She was born on March 20, 1929 in Fremont, the daughter of Ira and Sadie (Everett) McDonald.
Pauline married James R. “Jim” Brink on September 6, 1947 in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death on March 6, 2009. Pauline was a homemaker and was an excellent cook. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her pets.
Pauline is survived by her children, Jane Holmes, Mechanicsburg, OH, Lana (Bill) Hardy, David Brink both of Fremont, OH, John “Frank” (Gail) Brink, Green Springs, OH, Judy (Chuck) Littlejohn, Bettsville, OH; sister, Polly Sachs of California; brother-in-law, Gerald Blodgett, Fremont, OH; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James R. “Jim” Brink; son, James “Pork” Brink; brothers, Earl McDonald, Dwight “Sonny” McDonald; sisters, Georgia Cathryn Blodgett and Faye Rose Mapes; half sister, Wade Legett.
Visitation: Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Service: Friday, February 13, 2015, 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Certified Funeral Celebrant, Susann Robitski Zimmerman officiating.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
