Erica Maple

Erica Maple, 77, of Fremont, OH passed away on May 12, 2024 at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, OH.  She was born in Germany on July 10, 1946 the daughter of Karl and Maria (Wagner) Nowak.  Erica married Myron “Mike” Maple on March 7, 1998 in Amish country in Ohio and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2020.

Erica enjoyed traveling with her husband to Maine every year and Amish country.  She also enjoyed going to casinos.  

Erica is survived by her brother, Al Nowak, Fremont; step-children, Greg Maple, Parma Heights, OH and Rex (Kim) Maple, Melbourne, FL; step-grandchildren, Kyle (Marty) Heberling, Rachael (Josh) Hamacher, Courtney and Brittney Maple; step-great grandchildren, Jacob, Kyliegh, Isaiah, Josiah and Zechariah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Myron “Mike” Maple.

A private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
