Eric L. Edwards, Sr.

Eric L. Edwards, Sr. 53, of Fremont, OH passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH. He was born June 28, 1966 in Sandusky, OH to Felacy Gowdy and Betty (Andson) Edwards.

Eric worked at Farmland Foods for several years. He was a member of the Fremont Knight Riders and enjoyed grilling, cooking, pool, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Eric was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Eric is survived by his children, Cire Edwards, Jordan Edwards, Deja Rogers, Gauge Ferguson, all of Fremont, OH, Dri Aryanna Martin of Michigan; step children, Billy Wolverton, Cord Griffin, Jay Griffin and Destinae Scott, all of Fremont, OH; mother, Betty Edwards, Findlay, OH; forever companion, Tina Scott, Fremont, OH ; brothers Cardell Beachum, Demetrius Edwards and Emanuel Mitchel; sister, Tonya (James) Turner, Sandusky, OH; grandchildren, CJ, Elijah and Jordan, Jr; best friend, Archie Bulger; Godson, Brandon Rice; host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Beachum; sons, Eric L. Edwards, Jr., Maximillian English; sister, Alea Jones and his grandparents.

Visitation: Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 11:00 until Noon at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.

A Memorial Service will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Cynthia Johnson officiating.
