Eric J. Theller

Eric J. Theller, 89, of Fremont, OH passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Valley View Healthcare Center. He was born on July 5, 1923 in Tiffin, OH, the son of Eric and Elsa (Theander) Theller. He was a 1941 graduate of Tiffin Columbia High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from Ohio State University.

Eric married Evelyn Mitchell on May 19, 1945 in Tiffin, OH and she survives. He was Part Owner and Operator of Grund Drug in Fremont. Eric started the pharmacy at Fremont Memorial Hospital.

Eric was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Lions club. He loved to travel.

He was a gentle, kind and soft spoken man who loved his family. Eric was a great husband, father and grandfather.

Eric is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Evelyn Theller, Fremont, OH; children, Nancy Simpson, Lisbon, OH, Marsha (Bruce) Hirt, Fremont, OH and Eric (Kimberly) Theller, Dillon, CO; grandchildren, Raenna Weaver, Gregory Hirt, Erica Zender, Megan Kosek and Eric Jon Theller; great grandchildren, Olivia and Emily Weaver, Evan and Zane Zender, Hailey Hirt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Arthur Theller; grandchild, Michael Simpson and son-in-law, Gary Simpson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church, 705 W. State St, Fremont, OH with Pastor Jim Avers officiating.

Memorials can be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
