Enriqueta “Gloria” Walters

Enriqueta “Gloria” Walters, 75, of Fremont, OH passed away on February 18, 2022 at Toledo Hospital.  She was born on March 23, 1946 the daughter of Juan and Rosario (Rios) Rodriguez.  She was a 1965 graduate of Gibsonburg High School.  Gloria married Robert Alan Walters and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2003.  She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church and the Fremont Eagles.  Gloria enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, cooking, shopping and helping others.  She also volunteered at the Fremont Senior Center.

Gloria is survived by her children, Alan (Toni) Walters, Beth (Kenneth) Burtch, Dori Walters and Carey Walters all of Fremont; siblings, Robert (Sara) Rodriguez of North Carolina, Nicholas Rodriguez, Fremont, Julio (Jeanie) Rodriguez, Sandusky and Marcy (Helen) Rodriguez, Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Sierra, Joshua, Malinda, Tyler, Thomas, Trent, Trevor, Alex Marie, Autumn, Lorenzo and Cynthia and fourteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Walters; son, Robert Alan Walters, Jr.; siblings, Carol Avalos, Nicholasa Romas and John Rodriguez.

Visitation: Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
