Ellen A. Haigh

Ellen A. Haigh, 92, of Fremont, OH passed away on September 3, 2024 at Countryside Manor Healthcare. She was born on December 29, 1931 in Geneva, OH the daughter of Leslie and Marie (Carraher) Clutter. Ellen was a 1950 graduate of Geneva High School.

Ellen married Thomas Haigh on June 16, 1978 in Geneva, OH and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2010. She was a sales associate at Wal-Mart in Tiffin, OH until she retired. Ellen enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling. She loved her dogs, Joshua and Icky but most of all she loved to spend time with her family.

Ellen is survived by her children, Kevin Rose, Atlanta, GA, Cindy Rose, Danielle (Mark) Chambers, Fremont, and Robert (Pam) Thompson, Perry, OH; step-daughters, Georgean (Richard) O’Keeffe, Perry, OH, Beverly Thompson Warhol, Willoughby, OH, Debbie (Paul) Miller and Jeannie (Bob) Hille; brother, Edward (Carol) Clutter; step-siblings, Richard Clutter, Mary Lou (Dick) Cheney; sisters-in-law, Jackie Clutter and Dorothy Clutter and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-children, Bonnie Corzine and Connie Nikooee; sister, Sharon Pasqualone; step-siblings, Jim, Dale and Russell Clutter

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E State St., Fremont, OH.

A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Reed Assumption Cemetery, 15030 Reedtown Rd, Bellevue, OH .
