Eileene Joann Hessick

Eileene Joann Hessick, 85, of Green Springs, OH passed away on April 17, 2021 at Heritage Village of Clyde, OH.  She was born on January 3, 1936 in Toledo, OH the daughter of Gilbert and Beatrice (Woodruff) Smith.  She was a graduate of Holland High School.  Eileene married Robert Hessick on August 23, 1974 in Adrian, MI and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2006.  She was a school bus driver for Clyde-Green Springs Schools and Springfield Schools for over twenty years until she retired.  She enjoyed cake decorating, sewing and gardening.  Eileene loved to spend time with her family.

Eileene is survived by her children, David (Kathy) Hussell, Columbus, Sally (Terry) Neff, Clyde, Shelly (Rob Berlekamp) Martinez, Green Springs, Robin (Tony) Good, Bellevue, Michael (Deb) Hessick and Thomas Hessick both of Fremont, Terry (Kay) Hessick, Bulls Gap, TN and Kenneth (Joann) Hessick, Social Circle, GA; thirty-five grandchildren and fifty-seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Hessick; son, Ronnie Hessick; grandchildren, Sy Lucio and Danielle Hessick; sisters, Jean Zeh and Charlotte Weiker.

Visitation:  Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N. Broadway St., Green Springs, OH.

Service: Thursday, April 22, 2021; 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
